What is a Rotavator?

Till, break, level —
the most essential preparation for sowing

A rotavator is a tractor implement that uses the tractor's PTO rotational power to spin multiple tillage blades mounted on a rotating shaft, cutting and tilling the soil. It is used to level the soil and create a suitable growing environment before sowing and transplanting.

While a plow turns the soil deeply to aid soil circulation, a rotavator finely tills and crushes the soil into small particles so that fertilizer and organic matter mix evenly into it. For these reasons, the rotavator has become a key implement for efficient soil management and sowing in modern agriculture.

01 Double Top Cover

The top cover is double-bonded, so there is no interference or distortion between the side plates and the machine keeps its shape even after long use.

02 Special Seal Bearing Protection

A special seal on the drive shaft blocks water and other foreign matter from entering the bearing, improving bearing durability.

03 Soil-Optimized Blades

The blades are newly designed and specially arranged to suit Korean and Southeast Asian soils and any cropping system, greatly reducing the load on the machine.

04 Flange-Type Shaft

The rotavator shaft uses a flange type designed to suit even hard soils, and its ideal blade wear allows a long service life.

05 Assembled Idle Gear Shaft

By developing a side-gear-type idle gear shaft, we moved from the old welded structure to an assembled structure, improving the durability of the side gears.

06 Geared Transmission

Medium and large models adopt a geared transmission, letting you freely select the working speed.

07 Spiral Bevel Gear

A Gleason-type spiral bevel gear reduces operating noise and enlarges the gear contact area to improve durability.

08 Hypoid Gear

Small rotavators use a hypoid gear to reduce noise and increase contact area for durability; the pinion-shaft center is shifted parallel downward to reduce universal-joint angle deformation and improve joint durability.

09 Improved Debris Blocking

A newly developed rotor shaft with debris-blocking capability replaces the old dust-cover function, improving both debris blocking and durability.

10 Auto-Tension Device

An auto-tension device for chain-type rotavators automatically adjusts tension and improves the durability of the chain and sprocket.

11 Hydraulic Cylinder

A hydraulic cylinder for shifting rotavators lets you control left-right movement with a simple lever from the tractor seat.

12 3-Point Link Mast

A 3-point link mast reduces shape change of the top cover and lowers the load, improving durability.

13 Improved Side-Plate Spacing

Improving the center distance of the right side plate on medium and large models reduces tolerance, further improving the stability of the moving parts.

14 Banded Rear Cover

The wider rear cover improves workability, and a banded structure increases resistance to external forces, solving shape-deformation problems.

The stand lets you support the rotavator safely.
